I’ve always liked collecting and sorting things. I started collecting stamps from a very young age and spent whole afternoons sorting them by country, theme, etc. Then I did the same with postcards, books, porcelain dogs, magazines, and so on. By the way, speaking of collections, I recommend this book ‘The Hare with Amber Eyes’ by Edmund de Waal.
With photos I do exactly the same thing: I classify them geographically and by subject. I tag them with keywords so I can find them quickly. And maybe later they can be turned into books or calendars. These are my most outstanding collections, which I will be publishing from now on every fortnight.
StreetArt
StreetArt is what I baptised the artistic expressions, so to speak, that are on the street, in plain sight. I started in Barcelona with graffiti on Carrer dels Mirallers, in the Ribera district. When I arrived in Tokyo I found that there was very little graffiti. Then I discovered that there was another kind of street art. Judge for yourselves.
