My Japanese Collections - Nature

I started this collection when I was little, with photographs of birds, trees, mountains. Here I focus on parks, flowers and rivers. There are green spaces everywhere; and, in the spring, apart from the sakura (cherry blossoms), well there are flowers everywhere, from the pots outside grandmothers’ houses to the embankments by the rivers.

Sakura in Naka-Meguro (2nd part: people)

This year, the tokyoites have taken to the streets to admire, once more, the cherry blossom (Sakura). And even though there was not the same crowd as in the pre-COVID years, it has also been a festival of situations, anecdotes and exhibition.

The arrival of spring invites you to enjoy the walk with friends, relatives, dogs or alone.

And also to see the fashion and the different urban styles of the tokyoites and visitors.

Sakura in Naka-Meguro (1st part: nature)

One more year the cherry trees have blossomed ……

And they have done so with great force, generating the festive atmosphere that is being lived these days around the Meguro River.

And creating, as every year, images of great visual beauty.

And not only in color, but also in black and white.
